Description
Introducing the new rope bag designed especially for ski mountaineers!  The Gear Perspective Rad 60 is an ultralight tear-resistant rope bag.  At a maximum capacity of about 5L it will hold 60 meters of Petzl Radline or other supple 6mm rope. Perfect for crevasse rescue, rappelling or roping up on a glacier.  It has a daisy chain for attaching to your harness, attaching things to the bag itself, or clipping to the front of your harness for quick repacking.

It’s crafted using UltraGrid (TM) from Challenge Sailcloth, a premium technical fabric that promises unmatched durability and performance relative to its weight. UltraGrid is made of recycled nylon and a double grid of UHMWPE fibers for exceptional tear strength, in addition to a waterproof coating on the inside.

This thing is absolutely perfect for the RAD 60. The double grommet is very clever. And the daisy chain is nice for clipping on your harness or a belay device when storing the kit so it all leaves the house as a unit. Check out Dave Searle’s video on YouTube to see the setup in action. I happened upon the video by chance after buying the bag. Super helpful.
