Introducing the v.3 double end rope bag: a revamped and enhanced version of the double end rope bag without the mesh collar. In addition to the modified closure tailored for swift water conditions, Gear Perspective has been able to replace the mesh collar with UltraGrid™ from Challenge Sailcloth. UltraGrid™ is the worlds first recycled nylon grid fabric with Ultra™ ripstop for a higher performance and lower environmental impact. A double 200d Ultra™ grid provides exceptional tear-strength and visual impact. UltraGrid™ has a CO DWR coating, and is free from toxic PFCs. This recycled nylon yarn is made reusing pre-consumer waste that otherwise would have been discarded to the landfill. Ultra™ fiber is also known as UHMWPE, or branded Spectra™ or Dyneema™ which reduces weight and double tear strength.
The v.3 is not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing. The body is crafted using ECOPAK as in the previous versions, a premium technical fabric that promises unmatched durability and performance relative to its weight. The only fully recycled line of composite fabrics. Each yard upcycles about 20 plastic water bottles into durable technical textiles. This fabric last longer, absorbs 80% less moisture, and has better UV resistants and color retention than traditional laminated nylon.

Crafted from Ecopak, a cutting-edge ultralight composite material, the Ecopak Rope Bag is engineered for serious performance in the harshest environments. Although incredibly tough, keeping one or both protective/flotation pads in place when navigating abrasive terrain will extend maximum longevity.
Designed to handle the rigors of being tossed from cliffs on occasion, your bag will last even longer when the last man down rappels with it clipped to their harness. And while Ecopak can handle almost anything, sticks and branches are its one true nemesis—keep an eye on your bag’s path to avoid snags and tears.
